Daily Detox Green Smoothie

I love detox strategies that come in the form of a smoothie.  They are simple, easy to prepare and incredibly effective.

This recipe is power packed with nutrients to both pull out heavy metals and replenish with added minerals.  Add this to your meal plan as part of your breakfast, lunch or midday snack.  Be sure to place the frozen fruit at the top of your blender to get the best result.

½ cup Suja or Essential Greens juice (I add this to soften the intensity of the spirulina)

½ cup filtered water

1 tsp. Hawaiian Spirulina

1-2 handfuls of spinach, kale, collards, dandelion or romaine

1 handful cilantro

½ frozen banana

½ cup wild frozen blueberries

Drink up and enjoy!
